Photography
Photography was my initial passion. I started creating photographs in school, mostly in monochrome. As well as producing photographs, I also use my photography to take reference images for my paintings.
Acrylic Paint Pour
Paint pouring is the process of thinning acrylic paints and pouring them onto a surface. Usually they’re layered before pouring to minimise how much the paints mix, giving abstract patterns. As well as producing beautiful results, It also helps me understand some of the more subtle nature of paint pigments.
Painting
I currently paint with acrylic paints, but I plan to start using oils and watercolours, and also will experiment with a mix of paint types. Painting helps me play with composition, which is a skill that helps my photography.
Jewellery and Gifts
Jewellery and gifts are a way to repurpose the excess paint when making a paint pour. As well as producing products with a beautiful abstract pattern, it reduces waste and helps with sustainability.
